3.3 You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials, including your password. You agree to notify MySabiApp immediately of any unauthorized access or use of your Account.
3.4 You may maintain only one Account on the Platform. Shared accounts, accounts registered on behalf of others, and duplicate accounts are strictly prohibited.
3.5 MySabiApp reserves the right to refuse registration to any person, refuse service to existing Users, and suspend or terminate Accounts at any time, in our sole discretion, for any reason or no reason, including if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or pose a risk to other Users.
3.6 Provider Accounts require completion of the Verification process as described in Section 4 below. Consumer Accounts may use the Platform upon registration, subject to account verification procedures.
MySabiApp implements a multi-tier verification process to establish Provider credibility and protect Consumers. This process includes three tiers of verification:
4.1 Tier 1 - Identity Verification. All Providers must complete Tier 1 Identity Verification before their Service Listings can be published. This tier requires: (a) A valid government-issued identification document (National Identification Number (NIN), Bank Verification Number (BVN), driver's license, or international passport); (b) Selfie verification confirming the identity of the individual in the identification document; and (c) Phone number verification through SMS or voice call confirmation.
4.2 Tier 2 - Skills and Credentials. To build Consumer trust and increase visibility, Providers may complete Tier 2 Skills and Credentials Verification, which includes: (a) Proof of qualifications, trade certifications, or professional licenses relevant to the service category; (b) Portfolio or work samples demonstrating experience and quality of work; (c) Category-specific requirements (e.g., proof of insurance, health certificates, or specialized training).
4.3 Tier 3 - References and Background. Providers may further enhance their credibility by completing Tier 3 References and Background Verification: (a) Professional references from previous clients or employers; (b) Previous client testimonials or references; (c) Background screening, where applicable or required by MySabiApp.
4.4 Upon successful completion of Verification tiers, Providers receive Verified Badges displayed on their profiles. These badges indicate completion level (Tier 1, Tier 1+2, or Tier 1+2+3) and help Consumers identify trusted Providers.
4.5 MySabiApp may revoke Verification status and remove Verified Badges from any Provider at any time for violation of these Terms, engaging in Prohibited Conduct, poor Trust Scores, or other cause.
4.6 Providers are responsible for maintaining current Verification documents. Expired documents must be renewed within thirty (30) days of expiration, or Verification status may be revoked.
4.7 Verification does not constitute an endorsement or guarantee by MySabiApp regarding the Provider's service quality, professionalism, or reliability. MySabiApp is not responsible for Provider actions or performance.
5.1 Providers are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and legality of all information contained in their Service Listings. MySabiApp does not independently verify listing information.
5.2 All Service Listings must include: (a) a clear description of the service being offered; (b) pricing (either fixed price or price range); (c) the geographic service area or location(s) where the service is provided; and (d) Provider availability.
5.3 The following types of Service Listings are strictly prohibited: (a) Any illegal service or service that violates Nigerian law; (b) Regulated services (medical, legal, financial, real estate) offered without proper licensing or credentials; (c) Sexually explicit content or services; (d) Weapons, explosives, drugs, or controlled substances; (e) Counterfeit, stolen, or fraudulent goods or services; (f) Multi-level marketing (MLM) schemes or pyramid schemes; (g) Any other service that violates these Terms or applicable law.
5.4 MySabiApp may remove Service Listings that violate these Terms without notice, warning, or explanation. Repeat violations may result in Account suspension or termination.
5.5 Providers may purchase Premium Listings to enhance visibility and prominence. Premium Listings are subject to MySabiApp's Premium Listing Terms and Conditions and are subject to applicable fees.
6.1 Booking Process. The typical booking process on the Platform follows these steps: (a) Consumer selects a Provider and Service Listing; (b) Consumer sends a Booking request, which may include detailed requirements and questions; (c) Provider reviews the request and accepts or declines within a reasonable timeframe; (d) Upon acceptance, the parties communicate through Platform messaging to agree on final scope, price, and timeline; (e) Consumer funds the Escrow Account as described in Section 7; (f) Provider delivers the service; (g) Escrow funds are released to the Provider upon service completion.
6.2 Booking Confirmation requires explicit agreement from both parties on the scope of work, final price, and timeline for service delivery.
6.3 Both parties must act in good faith and fulfill their obligations. Providers must deliver services as described and agreed upon. Consumers must pay the agreed-upon price and accept satisfactory service delivery.
6.4 Cancellation Policies. (a) Consumer Cancellation: A Consumer may cancel a Booking before service commencement and receive a full refund, minus applicable processing fees (typically 2-3% of the Booking amount). (b) Provider Cancellation: A Provider may cancel a Booking without penalty for the first occurrence. Cancellation patterns or repeated cancellations may trigger an Account review and potential suspension or termination. (c) No-Show Policies: If either party fails to appear or commence service at the agreed-upon time and location without prior notice or valid reason (Force Majeure), the other party may cancel and claim a refund or payment, respectively. Repeat no-shows may result in Account penalties.
7.1 All Transactions on the Platform are processed through MySabiApp's secure Escrow system. Escrow provides protection for both Consumers and Providers by ensuring funds are held in trust until service completion conditions are satisfied.
7.2 MySabiApp supports multiple payment methods for funding Escrow, including: (a) direct bank transfer; (b) USSD (Unstructured Supplementary Service Data); (c) debit/credit card; and (d) mobile money services (where available).
7.3 Escrow Process: Before service begins, the Consumer deposits funds into the Escrow Account held by MySabiApp. Funds remain in Escrow until the service is completed and Consumer satisfaction is confirmed, at which point funds are released to the Provider.
7.4 For larger Bookings or complex services, Escrow may be structured in Milestones, with partial Escrow release occurring upon completion of specified stages of work. Milestone details are agreed upon during the Booking confirmation process.
7.5 Escrow Release Conditions: Funds are released upon: (a) Consumer confirmation of satisfaction with service; (b) automatic release after 48 hours following service completion if no Dispute is raised; or (c) per Dispute Resolution outcome.
7.6 Deposit Requirements: A minimum deposit of 50% of the Booking amount may be required to confirm the Booking and reserve the Provider's time.
7.7 Refund Policy: (a) Consumers receive a full refund if a Provider fails to deliver the contracted service; (b) partial refunds may be issued based on Dispute Resolution outcomes; (c) processing fees are non-refundable.
7.8 All Transactions are processed in Nigerian Naira (NGN). No other currency is accepted on the Platform.
7.9 Payment Processing Times: Bank transfers typically clear within one (1) to three (3) business days; card payments provide instant funding with escrow release within one (1) to two (2) business days; mobile money payments are typically instant.
7.10 MySabiApp is not a bank and does not hold customer funds as deposits. Escrow funds are held in regulated trust accounts in accordance with Nigerian banking regulations and are segregated from MySabiApp's operational accounts.
8.1 Transaction Commission: MySabiApp charges a percentage Commission on all completed Transactions. The Commission rate varies by service category and typically ranges from 3% to 12% of the total Transaction value.
8.2 Fee Structure: Commissions are automatically deducted from the Provider's payout at the time of Escrow release. The Commission is clearly itemized on the Booking and Escrow release confirmation.
8.3 Premium Listing Fees: Providers may opt to purchase Premium Listings to enhance the visibility and prominence of their Service Listings. Premium Listing fees range from NGN 2,000 to NGN 7,000 per month, depending on the tier selected.
8.4 Provider Subscription Tiers: MySabiApp offers tiered subscription options: (a) Free Tier (basic listing features); (b) Professional Tier (enhanced features, analytics, and messaging tools); and (c) Business Tier (full suite of features, priority support, and advanced analytics).
8.5 Fee Changes: MySabiApp may adjust Commissions, Premium Listing fees, or subscription pricing at any time. Material fee increases will be notified to affected Users at least thirty (30) days in advance via email or in-app notification.
8.6 No Hidden Fees: All applicable fees and Commissions are disclosed transparently before Transaction completion. Users will see the full fee breakdown before confirming payment.
8.7 Taxes: Users are solely responsible for determining and paying their own tax obligations in connection with use of the Platform and income derived from Transactions. MySabiApp does not provide tax advice or withhold taxes on behalf of Users.
9.1 Reviews may only be submitted for completed, Escrow-confirmed Transactions. This means that every Review on the MySabiApp Platform is tied to a real, verified Job and provides authentic feedback based on actual service delivery.
9.2 This Review system creates a reputation mechanism that meaningfully reflects Provider performance and service quality, as only genuine completed work can be reviewed.
9.3 All Reviews must be honest, accurate, and based on the Reviewer's actual experience with the service. Reviews should provide constructive feedback and specific details about the Provider's performance.
9.4 Photo Proof: Reviewers may attach photos to their Reviews to provide evidence of service quality or completion. Photos are subject to MySabiApp's content policy.
9.5 Prohibited Review Conduct. The following conduct is strictly prohibited: (a) Creating, submitting, or encouraging fake, fabricated, or false Reviews; (b) Review manipulation, including coordinated Review campaigns or artificially inflating or deflating ratings; (c) Paying for positive Reviews or incentivizing favorable ratings; (d) Threatening or coercing negative Reviews in exchange for discounts or refunds; (e) Reviewing your own Service Listing or Booking from a different Account.
9.6 Repeat-Hire Prompts: The Platform may suggest that Users rebook Providers they have previously used, based on their Transaction history. Such suggestions are optional and do not obligate Users to rebook.
9.7 MySabiApp may remove, modify, or flag Reviews that violate these Terms or are determined to be inauthentic. Repeat violations of Review policy may result in Account suspension or termination.
9.8 Provider Responses: Providers may publicly respond to Reviews posted about them, allowing for dialogue and clarification. However, Providers may not use responses to harass, threaten, or retaliate against Reviewers.
9.9 Trust Score: All Reviews contribute to a Provider's Trust Score, which is a composite numerical rating reflecting the Provider's reliability, quality, and customer satisfaction based on completed Transactions and associated Reviews.
10.1 MySabiApp treats Dispute resolution as a core Platform feature. The Dispute resolution process is designed to be fair, transparent, and evidence-based, protecting both Consumers and Providers.
10.2 Dispute Initiation. Either party may raise a Dispute within forty-eight (48) hours of Service Completion (or non-completion). A Dispute is typically initiated when: (a) a Consumer believes the service was not delivered or delivered below agreed-upon standards; (b) a Provider believes the Consumer is refusing to confirm completion or pay without valid cause; or (c) either party disputes Transaction terms or scope.
10.3 Evidence Submission. The Platform supports structured evidence collection to facilitate fair resolution. Acceptable evidence includes: (a) Photographs or videos of work, with metadata and timestamps; (b) Date and time stamps of communication and service delivery; (c) Complete Platform messaging history, including Quotations and agreements; (d) Appointment or scheduling records; (e) Third-party assessments or expert opinions (where applicable); (f) Other relevant communications or documentation.

Step 3 - Final Determination: If mediation does not resolve the Dispute, a MySabiApp Dispute panel issues a final, binding determination based on evidence and these Terms.
10.5 SLA Targets. MySabiApp commits to the following Service Level Agreement (SLA) targets for Dispute resolution: (a) Acknowledgment of Dispute within four (4) hours of submission; (b) Initial review and evidence request within twenty-four (24) hours; (c) Full resolution within seven (7) business days maximum.
10.6 Possible Outcomes. 10.7 Repeat Dispute Patterns: If a User is involved in an escalating number of Disputes (typically more than two per month), MySabiApp may initiate a broader Account review or impose restrictions, temporary suspension, or permanent termination.
10.8 High-Value Disputes: For Disputes involving amounts exceeding NGN 5,000,000.00, MySabiApp may engage external arbitration or legal counsel to ensure fair determination.
